Dot Matrix or Impact printing relies on tiny pins hitting a ribbon to transfer ink to the paper. It's messy, it's old fashioned and it's extremely noisy but has two advantages - it's very, very fast and it can print on to multipart stationery.
The Bluetooth MF8i is a portable rugged dot matrix impact printer that produces full size multiple-part invoices and receipts at a print speed of 270 cps. It can hold 200 sheets of 8.5 inch x 11 inch or A4 paper and includes a factory installed Bluetooth module and ribbon. Powered by 12V NiMH battery or cigarette adapter (battery and adapter not included).

An EPSON Type B Interface Slot allows easy integration with a wide range of different connectivity options including a full range of network and serial configurations. Also available is the LQ 680 Pro, which offers an Auto Platen Gap adjuster and an Auto Paper Changer. Based on measurements made by the printer's on-board optical sensor, the Auto Platen Gap adjuster automatically recognises the thickness of paper being used.
